Watermelon Margarita

Is there anything better than a very simple, refreshing margarita? On a hot summer day, this Watermelon Margarita is easy to make (three key ingredients!) and just the right amount of sweet and salty blend, with the salted rim.

Category, Yields1 Serving

Ingredients

 1 ¼ cups watermelon juice
2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
 4 oz silver tequila
 ice
 lime wedges
Dell Cove Spices’ Red Margarita Salt

Directions

1

Take one small watermelon, cube the fruit and put it in a blender. Blend the fruit until you have juice. Then strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer, to remove any seeds or pulp. (This step is optional.)
Next, take your chilled bar glasses, moisten rim with lime wedges and garnish rim with Dell Cove Spices’ Red Margarita Salt. Fill glasses with ice (optional) and set aside.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add your watermelon juice, lime juice and tequila. Cover and shake well until shaker is chilled. Strain into glasses and serve immediately.
