Tropical Pink Cosmopolitan Martini

Tropical Pink Cosmopolitan Martini

The Tropical Pink Cosmopolitan Martini is the cocktail that turns any event into a party. We’ve taken some of the basic flavors of Carrie Bradshaw’s favorite drink but added a tropical twist in the form of pineapple. Instead of using pineapple juice though, we opted for a good quality pineapple flavored vodka. It gives just enough of the tropical fruit’s flavor without overwhelming the delicate balance between the triple sec, lime and cranberry juices that make up a standard cosmo. We’ve also tamed some of the strength with a good splash of sweet agave nectar. Of course, the sweetness level is personal so, if you prefer your drinks on the strong side, use less of the agave syrup or leave it out altogether. But remember, you can always add but you can’t take away.

We also rimmed our glasses with our Dell Cove Love Candy Rimming Sugar because what could be more fun that a touch of heart shaped whimsy for this festive drink.

While this recipe makes two drinks, it’s easy to scale up and make large-batch cocktails for your next party. And why spend time at your party mixing drinks when you could be dancing on the tables?
