Lavender Margarita

lavender margarita recipe - diy lavender simple syrup recipe

This Lavender Margarita recipe is a little bit of French, a little bit Tex-Mex, and includes a homemade lavender simple syrup tutorial. Tequila, lime, and lavender might seem like an odd combination, but the tart citrus creates a natural counterpart to the floral sweetness of the lavender and a silver tequila brings it all together. Want to make this a mocktail? Swap the tequila with a generous pour of lemon tonic or lemon seltzer water, for a lovely lavender limeade.

CategoryYields1 Serving

 3 oz Silver Tequila
 2 Limes

In a small saucepan over medium heat, add sugar and water. Add the Dell Cove Pure Lavender Water and 1 T of lavender blossoms to the pan, and stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and let mixture simmer. Keep stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove pan from heat and let the syrup steep and cool.
