This Wicked Chocolate Pumpkin Smash is everything a Halloween cocktail should be. Creamy, delicious, dark and tempting.

Our potion, however, contains a lot of liquor, from the generous glug of bourbon to the three different kinds of liqueurs. But it’s all wrapped up in a sweet, unassuming chocolate package with a bit of real pumpkin and a hint of aromatic cinnamon spice. All that sweet, deliciousness hides the power of this drink so it’s easy to have a second and a third. Wicked!

As good as the taste is, the sugared rim is downright irresistible. Our orange and black crystals sparkle brightly and make this drink even more wickedly good. Prepare a couple of glasses and stash them in the fridge. Then invite someone over that you’d like to get to know a lot better!

Wicked Chocolate Pumpkin Smash

1 oz. Bourbon
1/2 oz. Chocolate liqueur
1/2 oz. Coffee liqueur
1/2 oz. Creme de cacao
1 oz. Unsweetened pumpkin puree
2 oz. Milk
Pinch of cinnamon
For the Rim:
1 Tablespoon simple syrup


Pour a tablespoon or two of the rimming sugar into a shallow bowl. Brush the edges of a cocktail glass with the simple syrup and roll in the rimming sugar. Place in the freezer for a few minutes to firm up while you make the drink.

Add the bourbon, chocolate liqueur, coffee liqueur, creme de cacao, pumpkin puree, milk and cinnamon to cocktail share.

Muddle the puree until it is dissolved into the liquid, fill with ice and shake well.

Pour into the prepared glass.
