This frozen bourbon lemonade sour proves the point that pairing a salty or spicy snack with a great cocktail is a big taste treat.

We’ve paired our spicy Cajun popcorn seasoning with a frozen drink that’s a cross between an Old Fashioned and a Bourbon Sour. Good bourbon, frozen lemonade mix, bitters and a maraschino cherry liqueur are blended with plenty of ice until the drink reaches slushy deliciousness.

Then we attached cute little cups (hint: they’re really mini muffin liners) to the glass, filled them with popcorn and dusted the whole thing with our spicy Cajun popcorn seasoning. Since we love everything about New Orleans, this blend is one of our favorites with it’s savory, deep south flavors. The combination of organic spices like garlic, smoked paprika, onion, cane sugar, sea salt, pepper and just a slight kick of cayenne makes us want to sprinkle this blend on everything.
