Ingredients
For the Candy Cane Infused Vodka:
3 Cups vodka
20 Miniature candy canes
For the Cocktail:
4 oz. Candy cane infused vodka
2 oz. Peppermint schnapps
Ice
Simple syrup for garnish

Instructions
Directions for Candy Cane Infused Vodka:
Pour the 3 cups of vodka into a large jar with an airtight lid. Add the miniature candy canes and seal the jar. Let the vodka stand for up to 24 to 48 hours, shaking periodically. Strain the liquid through a fine-mesh strainer and pour into a clean jar to store.
Directions for the Cocktail:
Add a tablespoon or so of the candy cane sugar to a shallow bowl. Brush the edges of two cocktail glasses with the simple syrup and dip them into the sugar. Set aside.
Add the candy cane infused vodka and peppermint schnapps to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice, shake well, strain into the prepared glasses and serve.
