The autumn harvest ginger fizz is a perfect combination of fall flavors, just right for when the air turns crisp and the weather begins to cool down. It also makes a great signature cocktail to serve when guests come for dinner during this time of year.
We like to prepare glasses with our gorgeous autumn cocktail rim sugar and have them ready on a tray. Then the signature cocktail is made in big batches and served in a pitcher. Guests can just pour their own drink as they snack on appetizers and the hosts don’t have to worry about spending time playing bartender. Besides, nobody can resist these sparkling rims.

Autumn Harvest Ginger Fizz
- Yield: 1 Serving 1x
Ingredients
Instructions
To make the ginger syrup, add the granulated sugar and water to a pot and simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Then add the sliced ginger. Bring to a boil and then remove from the heat. Allow to cool and either use immediately or, for a deeper flavor, pour into a lidded jar or bottle and place in the refrigerator overnight. Strain out the ginger piece and keep any leftovers in the fridge for up to a week.
Pour a tablespoon or two of the rimming sugar into a shallow bowl. Brush the edge of a cocktail glass with the simple syrup and roll in the rimming sugar.
Add the bourbon, ginger syrup and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice, shake well and pour into the prepared glass. Top with the sparkling apple cider.
