Apple Pie on the Rocks is our recipe for a festive, boozy treat that’s just the perfect amount of spice and sweet. We love it at the holidays because of the cinnamon flavor and aroma. But there’s really no wrong time to drink it. It’s also easy to make and can serve either as a pre-dinner cocktail for cozy fall dinner or an after dinner dessert for Thanksgiving. If you don’t have a vanilla-flavored vodka, you can easily make one by infusing a bottle with several split vanilla beans. Or, worst case scenario – use regular vodka and a quarter teaspoon of vanilla extract and you’ll achieve the same flavor.
